Indication

Administration
Its Usually typically administered orally in the form of powder or granules. The powder or granules are mixed with water and consumed once or twice per day .It is important to take ispaghula husk with plenty of fluids, as it can cause dehydration if not taken with enough water.
Adult Dose
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 spoonful with water 2 times daily or as per doctor’s advice.
Child Dose
Children 6 to 12 years: ½ to 1 spoonful with water depending on age and weight.
Renal Dose
It is generally considered safe for use in people with renal disease. Patients with kidney disease, should be consult with doctor before using it.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal tract obstruction or threatening obstruction of the bowel.
Mode of Action
