Instructions

  1. Boil the Vegetables: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Prepare 2 - 3 sliced spring onions, 2 diced carrots, and 1 diced potato and keep them aside. Keep ÂŊ cup finely sliced green beans (or ÂŊ cup peas) ready separately.
  2. Cooking Steps: Add carrots and potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 4 minutes. Then add green beans/peas and boil for another 4 minutes until they turn bright green. Check if the potatoes and carrots are tender, then remove from heat.
  3. Prepare the Dressing: In a clean bowl, mix 5 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tbsp salad cream, ⅓ tsp sugar, a pinch of white pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt to taste. Stir well until everything is combined.
  4. Chop the Apple: While the vegetables are cooling, peel and dice 1 apple into small pieces like the potatoes. Immediately mix the diced apple into the dressing to prevent browning.
  5. Mix and Serve: Once cooled, add the boiled vegetables (potatoes, carrots, green beans/peas) to the dressing and mix well. Ensure all the vegetables are well-coated with the creamy mayonnaise dressing. Serve as a delicious side dish with your favorite meal!
